KAPPA ALPHA PSI, INC. COLLABORATION
On Tuesday, October 24, 2023 the Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. brought a well-received STEM to COPELAND E.S. As part of our initiative to engage and expose our young students to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and the world of “Drone” and remote control flight equipment, the KAPPA’s brought Ed Ward, a former technology teacher/administrator for the Trenton School District to conduct a motivating lesson. The students are being mentored as part of career awareness in the STEM field of work. President Walter Drew Smith of the KAPPA’s was a co-presenter and is actively mentoring our young men at Copeland. Our young men were thrilled, excited and motivated to learn more in such STEM related activities.
