100 Laptops for 100 Students at Dr. Crosby Copeland Jr. Elementary School
The Trenton Literacy Movement, Inc. (TTLM), in partnership with Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), TDI Connect, and Dr. Crosby Copeland Jr. Elementary School, has provided 100 laptops to 100 third-grade students at the school in Trenton, New Jersey.
This initiative ensures students have access to essential digital tools that support learning both in and out of the classroom. The laptops help students access online educational resources, build early digital literacy skills, complete homework more effectively, and develop research, writing, and creative skills. The program also supports remote learning and promotes greater educational equity.
By placing personal laptops directly into the hands of third-grade students, the initiative represents a strategic investment in literacy, technology, and long-term academic success.
The Trenton Literacy Movement is led by Edward “Ed” Bullock and is in its 10th year, with a mission to ensure that children in Trenton read on grade level by the end of third grade through strong community partnerships and targeted literacy programs.
